Your ‘Voice’ is an active on line communication link, pairing the concerns of residents of Ward #2 with the decisions of Town Council.

I will provide you with the “ Facts” about critical and controversial issues that are dealt with at Council on a bi-weekly basis.

This is your Town. You want information and transparency and I am going to provide it for you.

You want to express your concerns and feelings about decisions made by Council, this is your opportunity.

Your comments will not be posted on line. I will address each comment personally.

Dear Ward 2 Residents,

It has been my pleasure and privilege for the past 7 years to represent you in Ward 2. I have enjoyed being active in the community, working with the Residents Associations, organizing and supporting fundraisers and events. You are not just residents of my Ward, you are my friends and neighbours. Together, we have accomplished so many things to improve the quality of life for all of us living in Ward 2.

The Stewardship Program – a comprehensive environmental plan to improve the quality of water at Musselman’s Lake.
Traffic lights at HWY# 48 and Ballantrae Road – over 2,000 residents were exposed daily to a hazarous intersection before these were installed
New Tennis Courts in Ballantrae Park
Improved communications – Setting a new standard for elected officials with comprehensive communication and accessibility – website updates, newsletters, email access, collaboration with local residents associations.
A Park on Musselman’s Lake providing a safe and natural environment for our residents
Seniors have been moved out of the portable unit into the Community Centre
Day Care in Ballantrae Public School
Reduced speed limits to safeguard our residents
Community Safety Programs with increased uniform police presence
MPAC Re-Assessment that reflected a more realistic municipal property tax
